Plain-language overview
Business terms and project policies
These summaries explain the terms printed with customer documents. The signed document controls, and an Ohio attorney should review the final language before regular use.
Written scope controls
Only the work, materials, finishes, cleanup, and pricing written in the accepted quote or contract are included. New work needs written approval.
Materials
The customer pays for materials unless the document specifically says they are included. Customer-supplied items must be suitable and available on time.
Subcontracting
Amr and Nhi LLC may use employees, vendors, or qualified subcontractors and remains responsible for duties that cannot legally be transferred.
Hidden conditions
Mold, rot, pests, unsafe wiring, concealed damage, code issues, and similar hidden conditions are outside the original price until documented in a change order.
Access and belongings
The customer provides safe access and protects pets, children, vehicles, valuables, and fragile items. Pre-existing damage should be photographed before work begins.
Cleanup and debris
The immediate work area is left broom-clean unless the scope promises more. Hauling, dumpsters, hazardous materials, and unrelated trash require written pricing.
60-day workmanship warranty
Covered workmanship problems reported in writing within 60 days are inspected and, when covered, corrected. Product defects, abuse, moisture, movement, and third-party work are excluded.
Schedule and delays
Dates are good-faith estimates unless guaranteed in writing. Weather, shortages, inspections, customer changes, unsafe conditions, and events outside reasonable control can extend the schedule.
Payments
Deposits, progress payments, and final payment follow the signed schedule. Customers should identify disputes promptly and pay amounts that are not disputed.
Photos and privacy
Project photos may be used for documentation, estimates, warranties, insurance, and disputes. Public marketing use requires separate permission when identifying details are visible.
Damage and liability
The company does not accept responsibility for unrelated or pre-existing conditions. The terms do not attempt to excuse negligence, willful misconduct, or duties that Ohio law does not allow a business to limit.
Ohio cancellation rights
Certain sales made at a customer’s residence may carry a three-business-day cancellation right and special notice requirements. Use the required notice when applicable.
